potatoPixels is a small, independent design agency with an office in Almere and – to help keep the city’s economy moving – a small shared studio in Amsterdam. I work with clients from both the corporate and not-for-profit sectors, helping them realize their design aims and direction. And because every client has different ambitions, I start each new project with a clear mind, a fresh set of ideas and a few questions. Actually, quite a lot of questions. And typically some anecdotes about my home country of Ireland, my family and rugby too, of course.
And then I listen.
My experience stretches across a number of design disciplines, including editorial, corporate and interactive. As strategic lead, team lead and creative director on inhouse and agency projects, I’ve led international groups of designers, photographers and illustrators.
Being a bilingual (Dutch-English) expat who’s lived and worked in the Netherlands for more than two decades, I’m as comfortable working in Dutch as I am in English. My natural diplomacy and humour helps bridge cultural gaps when working in international teams, and I can even work with editors.
If you’re still with me at this point, then I think it’s time we had a chat. If you’d like to hear more about what I can do for you and your business, I’m only a phone call or an email away. Look forward to hearing from you.
