potatoPixels is a small independent design studio based in Almere, the Netherlands. I work with customers in both the business and non-profit sectors, helping them realise their design aims and direction. And, because each client has unique goals, I begin each new project with a clear mind, a new set of ideas, and a few questions. And sometimes I’ll add an anecdote or two about my native Ireland, rugby or whatever else springs to mind.
My background spans a variety of design disciplines, including editorial, corporate and interactive. I've led multinational teams of designers, photographers and illustrators as strategic lead, team lead and creative director on in-house and agency projects.
As a bilingual (Dutch-English) expat who has lived and worked in the Netherlands for almost three decades, I am equally at ease working in Dutch as in English. My natural diplomacy and humour helps bridge cultural gaps when working in international teams.
